License Upgrade Instructions

 

Description:

I have a new license code but I don’t know how to make it active on my machine.

 

Explanation:

The following process must be performed on EACH machine in the office that accesses JeSTeR.

 

Be sure you have logged out JeSTeR and shut it down prior to running these steps.

  1. From the Start Menu, choose "Programs", then "Thornberry Consulting, LLC", then "Utilities"
  2. Choose "Product Activation", if it is not an options follow the Alternate instructions given below.
  3. In the Registration Code box enter your new registration code and click OK
  4. After it contacts our activation server you will be notified as to how many activations you have and how many are left. Click Activate and OK when finished.

You are now re-licensed and are ready to go!

Alternate Instructions:

If "Product Activation did not appear after steps 1 and 2 above then use these instructions to license/relicense a workstation.

  1. Open "My Computer" and select the C: drive (typically  "Local Disk (C:)").
  2. Find and double-click on "Program Files"
  3. Find and double-click on "Thornberry Consulting LLC"
  4. Double-click "JeSTeR"
  5. Find the file called "ProductActivation.exe" and double-click it.  If your Windows does not show extensions then select the file called "ProductActivation" and is of type "Application".
  6. Enter the Registration Code provided into the textbox and click OK
  7. After it contacts our activation server you will be notified as to how many activations you have and how many are left. Click Activate and then OK when finished.
